The Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice (CFJ) is organising a public lecture on 'Ecology and Justice', to be delivered by Patxi Alvarez SJ, the head of the Secretariat of Social Justice and Ecology of the Society of Jesus in Rome, on Thursday 24th May at 6.30pm at St Aloysius College Sixth Form Assembly Hall, Old Railway Road, Birkirkara.
'Caring for the environment is fundamental for our survival and our future depends on how we manage to change our lifestyles for a more sustainable development. Through this lecture we will look at the link between ecology and ecosystem services and social justice, and we will discuss the responsibility of all towards Creation.'
Professor Paul Pace of the inter Diocesan Commission for the Environment will ground the main points raised to the Maltese context.
Entrance to the lecture is free of charge.
